What is the Early Years Curriculum EYC®?
We know that children are natural learners from birth. At Little Star Day School we adapt our learning environment and our Early Years Curriculum EYC® to each child’s individual needs. Children are encouraged to make learning experiences and to discover the world around them. The Early Years Curriculum EYC® is tailor-made for children from the age of 6 months until school. It is based on active learning, hands-on learning or learning by doing. Children should learn by playing. Our curriculum is enriched with extra-curricular activities like music, dance, sports, swimming, mandarin and IT.
Which school after Little Star Day School?
The Early Years Curriculum EYC® is an amalgamation of several teaching methods, philosophies and approaches. The main base is the PYP of the international curriculum taught at international schools. Combined with elements from other philosophies like Reggio and Montessori, the child will be ready to go on to either an international school or to any other local school.
